Explanation of Techniques

M1R Use the left-hand needle to pick up the strand between the last stitch you knit and the one you are about to knit, bringing the needle from back to front. Leave the strand on the left needle. Next, insert the tip of the right needle knitwise into the front leg of the strand and knit as usual.

RLIP On the purl side (WS), Insert your right knitting needle into the right loop of the stitch one row below the next stitch on your left knitting needle coming from below. Lift that loop back on the left needle. Bring the yarn to the front and insert your right knitting needle through the back of that extra loop.Wrap the yarn around the needle counter-clockwise. Pull the yarn through and drop the lifted loop. For images or tutorial go to link https://nimble-needles.com/stitches/how-to-knit-the-right-lifted-purl-increase/

SSK Slip two stitches knitwise from left-had needle to right-hand needle (slipping one at a time). Slip both stitches back to the left-hand needle and knit these two stitches together through back loop.
